. In connection with the recuest made of the New York City S000 7D
\ office yesterday to determine whether Cady and Babcock, relatives
; ofGeletas, were living at Leroy, New York, Kr. Sackett called
+f lest night end edvised thet Agent Doherty hed been to “eroy and

hed moved on Hoveaber 15, 1933. Doherty exhibited the photograph ~
of Geletas to a mail carrier who edvised that he looked very much
like the third party; knom as Getchel. I contected Ur. Brantley
et lienphis end geve him tlct infornetion. He stated thet though -
they rere meking some preparutions in Memphis to be prepared in.
the event Geletas case to thit vicinity they had no definite leads
there which looked promising for the imaediete future. Hr. Brantley
stated thet he intended te go to Leroy for the purpose of interviewing
Cady and Babcock. I discussed with tir, Brantley the advisability
of leeving imnédietely for New York in view of the information obtained
frou Leroy. He stated thet it appeared thet that was a more important
ss. dead then enything they had at Yeuphis and thet they would proceed.

planes at night and they could prebably arrive in New York sooner -_ -
by waiting until this morning and catching @ plane, but thet they —_
