Mr. Conroy telephoned from Chicago and geve me the following de- .
tails concerning his talk rithCstacy (2): He gavé information es to four
telephone calls, whereas before they Kner of only two. He was in Kansas
City curing the past Spring fog a period of trelve days. He stated that while.

Miller took him to Johnnie Leshiets (7) place. He further advised Mr. Conroy
that Bailey and Miller were not on good terms; thet Phillips, knorn as @Big

given by Bailey to Agent Andersen in Oklahoma to. the effect that "Big Phiit
was killed in the East. Stacy stated he did not think Bailey ras connected

. the impression to the other Agents in the office that he had been unable to

gerous; that if the crowd finds out that Stacy is talking they will kill him.
I instructed Mr. Conroy to make this contact..at Chicago about twice
a month and to give this matter his personal attention. He steted that before
making the next contact in Chicago he till contact Malloy and Lagpic in Kansas
City, as rell as Batley, Kelly and Bates. /
