C. a, Dear Sir: There is being transmitted herewith copy of the report of autopsy concerning VERNON C. R, whose murdered body was found in Detroit on November 29. Jt will be noted that the direct cause of death is not explained in this report. I have been informed by the coroner that his office is making fur- ther examination of various parts of the -body upon request of the local police and therefore they are awaiting final results — of such examination. As stated in the clippings the police believe that some person upon viewing the photograph will be able to fur- Rish the police information as to the place where he stayed while in this city. This office is also keeping in close contact with the police on this matter with a view to determining if any other fugitivea whom we are seeking were present with Miller here be- fore his death. This photograph of Miller which was taken in the morgue has been touched up by an artist and eye glasses placed thereon. I have been informed by the coroner that Miller's body wae on December 1, 1933, shipped to C. W.
