Department of Justice, Obatruction of Justice. — Veshington, dD CS. Dear Sir: / t Concerning the Yanonymous letter addressed to J. B.jKeenan, Special Assistant to the Attorney Generel, mailed at Temple, Tezes, on September 25, 1933, photoatatic copy of which was furnished the Dallas office, a copy of this letter was sent to this office by the Dalles office with the suggestion that the letter be exhibited to the Postmaster and clerke in the Post Office at Temple, Texas, to determine, if possible, the identity of the writer, Postmaster Thos. J. Darling, Temple, Tezes, has been coe opereting with the San antonio Office for sane tim in an endeavor to observe the handwriting of any patron of hia office that was in any wey similar to the handwriting contained in the letter to Mr. Keenan. Mr. Darling hae submitted to me certain applications for money orders filed by two patrons of hie office whose handwriting to some extent bears a similarity to that in the anonymous letter. _I am attaching hereto photostatic copies of the handwriting of the patrons of the Temple Fost Office and will ask that the hani- writing expert of the bivision render an opinion as to whether or not there is a similarity between these handwritinge and that of the writing in the anonymous letter.
