The above are the officers Floyd spoke ebout while Koore wae with him in January of this year and are probably in office now. Moore stated, however, that he believes Floyd is in contact with many other officers in eastern Oklahoma end the only officer he seems to have any fear of ia the Sheriff at Muskog@e, Okla. He ateted Floyd has two machine guns besides the one purchased from Touhy; that he with four of his men weer bullet proof vests und Floyd wears a especial vest which protects his back. .He etated Rich is supposed to be Floyd's best man with a mchine gun; thet Floyd also has some ladies wearing apparel which he sanetimes wears while riding in the daytime to conceal hie identity. Moore stated he does not know whether Floyd is receiving protection from any of the Arkansas officers or at Hot Springs. , Moore further stated that Hanty lives in an old one story frame house ’ with a log barn in the rear; thet the house, while Floyd or his men are there ie continually under guard. It is located close to what is called Brush Mountain; that Lee\Henty is about sixty-five years of age and is the brother of Floyd's mother; that there is a lookout continuslly at Hanty's place und at night when one of the gang approaches the house, the signal is to turn a flashlight on and off three times. He stated Hanty'’s place is the best location to capture Floyd; that, - however, he doubta if even the post office employees can be trusted. Hanty gets bis mil either at Akin or Sallisaw. He added that he does not believe Floyd in- tenda to be taken alive. Moore stated that R. E. Delaney knows the direction to the cave as far as the iron bridge; that Delaney ie a competent officer. He stated he ia willing to direct a posse te the two hideouts above mentioned but he thinks the best place to get Floyd ie at Hanty's home; that he would not help if any Burna men Were present and unless all of the officers are known to be ebsclutely trust- worthy. He would also require protection and stated thet undoubtedly men will be killed when the reid is made. . During one of Moorate conversations with Floyd,.the latter told him that he intended to get into the kidnapping racket; that Touhy was sending © man named Ray|Zelcher to him to teach him the tricks? that they had en o11] mn at Ponca City and one at Oklahoma City spotted to be kidnapped. Moore did not know the nemss of these men. He etated Ployd aleo told him about their robbing a bank in Minneapolis, Minn. in December of 1932; that Floyd, Elliott, Ed Evans, Rich and Fred }zarker were som of the men who pulled the job; that Fred Barker wes captured and ia now serving time in the Minnesota State Penitentiary for the robbery; that Touhy and a man by the name of Vernon Miller were in St. Paul, Minn., then (that ie in Jamery of this year) plenning to effect Barker's escepe and had thought of using an aeroplane sameway to accomplish it. Floyd told Moore that WilburGunder- hill formerly was connected with him, but they had had a falling out; that, how- ever, he gave Underhill's sister 31,000.00 which was used in effecting Underhill's escepe from the Oklehom State Penitentiary, 4 captain of the guard spparently
