heard from her brother he was at Atlantic City, N.J., adding that he rarely

Dr. Paul Correll, 404 First Faticone] Bank Building, Easton, Pa., states thet
he renembers disticetly receiving the call on June & from Kanses City; that, it
being ir tke mornins, he answered the call from the Easton Hospital operating...

. "Bailey"; that he asked this individual what he desired, but received no answer;
that there wes quite an interim between the time the receiver was taken fran

whatsoever with the individual, and thought it was merely'a case of the wrong
number; thet, again, on June 17, 1635, a similar ¢all was placed to his office,
quite a long period of time elapsing before the party in Kansas City anewered
the call; that be is quite positive the party making the onll had the urag
number; that he does not remember the nemes mentioned in the tase as being patients
of his, and that he never worked in New York City. Dr. Correll could give no
further information as to why the call was maie to his office in Easton.
Agent made inquiry of Detective Menikheim, as well eas the Easton Police Department,
ag to Whether there are any other Correlle living in Easton, and was informed that,
apparently, Dr. Correll is the only inhabitant by that name; further, that he
bears an excellent reputation, is considered the outstanding surgeon of the
community, and is a leader in civic affairs in Easton.
