Zi advised Mr. Cullen by telephone that Agent Tarrou, who was in my of~ fice, was proceeding to New York to take charge of the Verne*Milier investi- gation in the East, and that Agent Turrou was very familiar with this whole case; that we have good reason to believe that Gallatis is with Miller. Mr. Cullen advised that he had several men on the case at the present time and I instructed that these men should be kept on the case and that Agent Turrou should take charge of the investigation. an AUG 2 21933
