Miller alias Vorne ‘Miller, Vincent c.cuoore, 7 and VermYerlin, was received at the South Dakota Penitentiary on April 4, 1923, from Beadle County, for embezzlement of public funde, under a sentence of two to ten years, and to pay a fine of $5,200. He was also indicted at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, October 20, 1925 for violation of the National Prohibition Act. His bond was later forfeited and a nolle prosequi entered. He is known to have been - an associate of Frank Nash and his geng for some time. At 10:17 P.M. a telephone call was recorded from the residence of Farmer at Joplin, Missouri to a residence at 6612 Edgevale Street, Kansas City, Missouri, occupied by a person giving his name as V.
