Yrom the reporte of Agent Treinor dated July Mth and
dpent Tracy dated August Sth, it fe noted that 1951 Cadilieo Tom
Sedan, W-l£, Series £370, Motor $2 j bearing 19535 Mee Fork lie
enmee tags f5-E-6966, figures bis investigation. It is also ob}
eerved that thie car is reported to te armorplated. This car was
in Hot Springe, Ark. in Pebruary, 1955, apperentiy in the possession
of oe group of Her York City ac Newark, MN. J. racketeers, among whom
one elaimed to be Loule Saffer. The car was also seen in Nenphia,
Tena. on or about June 6, 1955. It ie believed that the Louis Seffer
referred to above is idetioal with one Loule Buchalter mentioned in
the report of Agent Tracy referred to, for the reason that aot caly
were calls made to the Buchalter apertuent in New York City, ty the
group in Hot Springs, Ark., but just a few days ago, Louls Buchalter
end bis wife checked into the Hotel Pierre, Mew York City, under the
mane Mr. and Mre. Louis Seffer,

Of further interest in connection with this oar, the New
York office hae bean edvised by the A. 0. D. B. that their office
at Chicago, Ill. received a letter from Chief of Detectives Montgonery,
Peoria, Iil., under date of January 5, 1952, asking it to check the
car, The A. U. BD. Be. reported to this office that Sergeant BR. E.
Moren of the Automobile Deteil, Peoria, Il1. informed it that the
car was turned back to Louie J. Basil, after it was investigated
