Carter, Hotel Florence, Pullman, Illinois, for $450600. fhe bill of sale being signed by Thomas quinn, The above document eas examined by Agents Brentley and Turrou end the party from whom they received this information was C. Le Bible, salesmen of the Barnes-Collard Motor Company, who handied the transe ection with 4. Cartere Mre Bible was shown a photograph of Vernon Co Miller, but was not positive in hia identification of that party as de Carters ‘Sam Elliott, used car manager, Barnee-Collard Motor Company, also was present at the time of the transaction and he was shown @ photograph of Miller ani positively identified it as a likeness of ds Carter, Ia the Chevrolet Coupe which was traded by Carter wes found @ pair of coveralls ia whieh Mre Blliott found a keyring containing some keys and a metal tag on which was etamped Cloud County Banke It was aacerteined that thia bank ia@ located in Concordie, Kansase These keys were later given te Carter when he returned to bave the car Berviceds He bes not been in to this garage since the early part of 19336 ’ fhe office of the National Military Home, Laavenvorthy Kansas, was closed when Agente Brantley and Turrou arrived there and, there~ fore, nO inquiry has yet been made to determines whether or not @ person pamed 4, Carter, identical with the one mentioned herein, Was an innate there. 4 tracing of the signature “a.
