Memo for the Director August 10, 1933
xt It appears, however, that Stacy is not telling the truth about
+ Spur his connections wito these gangsters and it will be noted that
oar Mrs. Frank Nash was at one time employed as a cook at the 0. P.

The file does not reflect that any prosecutive action
has been taken against Stacy in connection with the obstruction
of justice case at Kansas City. It does appear, however, that
Stacy is a member of this gang and it is entirely possible that
he received information from Mrs. E. B. Connor from Hot Springs,
Arkansas, conceming Nash's arrest, and that he relayed same to
Fritz Mulloy at Kanses City, who admittedly is an accuaintance
of Verne C. Miller.
Respectfully,
S. P. Conley.
