I thought we would be justified in paying the informant in Hot Springs
money for his information and I advised that I thought we would be
justified in paying him probably $500 more upon the receipt of further
information of value. Mr. Jones said that he was going to make ar-
rangements to talk with Mre. Nash's seven-year~old son. Mr. Jones
advised thet the case centers around three pointe - Chicago, Oklahoma
City and Kansas City.

With regard to the proposed Leavenworth "break", M.. Jones advised
that information had been received to the same effect from an entirely
different source, and that the stories check; that there is a convict
in Leavenworth who is not expected to live during the week, and this
convict has given the same information as to the guns being buried in
the grave yard adjacent to the penitentiary.
