They merely stopped for a moment, but said they were going to Oklahama to make sane casy money. According to Hamlin, If they eppeared short of money. During the conversation, according oe he learned that the Gelatas crowd has a hangout between Fort Snith, Ars- ansas ami Salisaw, Oklahana. He also learned that Hamlin has two telephones which pass through the Eureka Springs exchange. He said that Hamlin hes a Cadillac Sedan, apparently a 1952 model, with a treiler attachment in the year, While he was gt the camp, he noticed a 1931 Chevrolet Coach, bearing a Kansas license, and also a 1955 Chevrolet sedan, license not noted. He let then believe that he was in need of money end vf exployment, and releted that Hamlin intimated that he night teke him to rt Tulea to participate in the job they had planned, The night that Hamlin arrived at the Write River Camp, he was told that he was going to be taken "for a ride." When he got in an automobile at the camp, he was accompanied by Walter Hamlin, Paul Brinkman, Sheldon, and en individual named Rend. |
