Reference is made to a letter dated July 3, 1933 from the St. Paul
office to the Detroit office requesting certain information regarding Verne mo.
C.Qiller, alias VernePHiller. On this date I forwarded to the Bureauand ©; |
also the Kansas City office a telegram stating that this person ie not want- — °
ed at the present time in Michigan. In this connection I have just inter- ~
viewed Captain I. HeyMarmon of the Michigan State Police in person at the’ "|.
Detroit office and We advises me that he is satisfied that Miller partici- ©}.
pated in the robbery of the bank at Holland, Mich., about two years ago re
but due to the fact that the main witnesses in the case were 80 unreliable .

Captain Marmon, while being interviewed about this matter, stated ~
that he had a reliable confidential informant in Chicago, J1l., from whom Dae

This informant has served a term in prison and is acquainted with all the
bank robbers of any consequence who operate out of Chicago, St. Paul, :
