He further advised that : the important numbers in their possession were the telephone number back from aoe Fort Smith to Hot Springe on Jyne 16th; a call from Hot Springs to Joplin, - Missouri on June 16th; a call from Joplin, Missouri to a number in Xensas City (the house the Agents have been covering) on June 16; a telephone call — fron the Union Station in Kansas City to Joplin, Missourt, dust after mid- = : nicht, on June 17th. , wt: I stated to Mr. Nathan I was of the opinion ve should definitely ascertein what the Police meant to do with these numbers when they get then, - . and heve an understanding that they will make no move without first a consulta~ _ tion with thre Bureau-agents. Mr. Nathan stated he thought we should first . have permission from the telephone company to give these numbers to the Police...
