On June 19, 1953, the Supreme Court of the ‘United
States dented a motion for reconsideration of the question
of the Court's power to vacate Mr. Juatice Douglas's stay
order and to hkecr oral argument.

On June 19, 1953, Mr. Justtoe Frankfurter turned
down Emanuel Biech's petition for a urit of mandamus to the
Ctreutt Court to grant a stay, pending appeals Mr Justice
Jackson also viewed this petition and satd that he would talk
with Bloch but would deny the petition. (65-58236-1845)
