The return address on the “envelope had the nae of "M. or Morty Levitou"” with a Mexico City address which Danstger belteved “to be Cordove or Cordoba. fhe envelope contatned a letter for . Danatger, an enclosure for Edith Levttov and a note requesting Danstger to forward the enclosure to Edith Levttov. Danstger aciled the enclosure to Edith Levitoue He stated that he did not hecr from Sobell thereafter. (65-58236«Serial 864) Manuel de Jos Rios . *Rtes, residing at 153 Cordova, Apartment 5, Mexico 2 me 2 2 Tu 2. i350 City, testified that in July, 1950 i hi he met Sobell and his family who had moved tnto the adjoining apartnent. Sobell asked Rios for advice as to how he could leave Meztco. He told Rios he was dodging ailttary service tn the United States Army. On ene eecaston Sobel ceked Rtos for directions te go to the Port of Vera Cruz. Sobell thereafter left Mexitca Chty ground July #0 or July #2, 1950, and was gone for 15 days. Rios recetued a letter about 8 days after Sobell's departure postmarked Vera Cruz. He opened the envelope and cbhserved that the letter was = 61 =
