Drea rae There is no material at the Roosevelt Library to confirm this claim. That, of course, is by no means conclu- sive. It is, of course, known that Roosevelt ordered Mr. Hoover and the FBI to cooperate with Stephenson and the organization, — British Security Coordination, but it has been generally assumed that that cooperation related to combatting Nazi and, for a time, communist subversion in the western hemisphere. But this new book claims much more. Would it be. possible to examine FBI files dealing withthe Agency's . cooperation with the British operation? My primary and exclusive ... interest is in establishing the reliability of the Stevenson book.
