HARRISON; UPpuc" information concerning this matter is being set out because ROSSELLI was involved in it.\\ @n Octcbher 31, 1960, ARTHUR JAMES BALLETTI was arrested at the Rivera Hotel in Laz Vegas, Nevada, at which time he admitted that he had received instructions from Investigations, Inc., Miami, Flcerida, to surveil and record telephone conversations of DAN ROWAN, who was then staying at the Rivera Hotel. Invéstigatioc revealed that an unknown individual using the name J. WU HARRISON wamt tn twee bal eT mde ne eee Ts @aillanc participated in the Placing of the telephone surveillance DAN ROWAN 's TOOM. \ It is noted that at this time ROWAN was keeping company with PHYLLIS M? GUIRE of the MC GUIRE Sister singing act and ROWAN later advised that he intended to marry PHILLIS MC GUIRE. PHYLLIS MC GUIRE had reportedly been the girl friend of SAMVEL GIANCANS of Chicago. Information received during July, 1960, from an informant in Las Vegas, indicates that GIANCANA 138 again keeping company with PHILLIS Mc UUIRE. U EDWARD L, DUBOIS of Investigations, Inc. advised that in October, 1960, he received a telephone call from ROBERT MAHEU, @ private investigator, Washington D.C. os requesting that DUBOIS serd two men to Las Vegas on October 26, 1961, for physical Eurveillance work. Subsequently, according to DUBOIS, MAHEU told him only to fend one man as he, MAHEU, was going to send one man. Thereafter, DUBOIS sent BALLETTI and the unknown individual who used the name J, W. HARRISON accompanied BALLETTI. \\ During the period from October 11 to October 29, 1961, ROBERT A. MARE and aJ. A. ROLLINS were registered at the eae mi mile taa ATT ware md Kenilywer th Hotel, M Miami Beach, Flori 1G4a, and ROLLINS accompani wo MAHEY., MAHEU informed SAs of the FBI that J. A. ROLLINS was JOHN A. ROLLINS but refused to further identify him. \\ Investigation disclosed that while at the Kenilworth Hotel, RCLLINS was charged with two telephone calls to telephone number WH. 3-1155 in Chicago, Illinois, which is the telephone number of rah who hag been identified in the ROSSELLI investigation as a close friend and associate of ROSSELLI.
