On October 1h, 19hi7, Mrs. Lucy wUNZIATA, the former LUCY*CARUSO, was
interviewed at he t coven Street, Chicago, Illinois, by

los NUNZIATA advised Agents that she had no information whatsoever relative
to instant matter. Sne stated that the money that was put up for the bond
of subject parolees was put up in her name by her sister, DEHLILA CARUSO.
Hrs. NUNZIATA stated that at the time this was done. she was ill, and her
sister handled the matter, putiing up $5,000.00 for each of thems
DEHLILAs CARUSO was interviewed at the same time by Agents and advised that
at the time of aprrehension of subject parolees, she had put up the sum of
$10,000.00 for the bond of subject parolees. She put up $5,000.00 of this
money in her ovm name and $5,000.00 in the name of her sister, LUCY CARUSO.
She stated that at that time, her sister LUCY was sick and she had handled
the entire transaction. She advised that the money that was put up was
taken from the AD!! Sales Company, a juke box onerating business that is
ovmed jointly by herself and her sister LUCY, and that as the money from
this business was the actual property of both of them, sne had put up
$5,000.09 in the name of each.

DEHLIEA CARUSO at first stated that the money was paid by check and that
she believes she had turned the money over to the American Casualty Comoany,
which 4vas the bonding agent for subject parolees. Later on, however, she
recalled that she had actually turned the money over to Attormey JOS2F I.
BULGER and had taken the money to him at his office. She stated that she
was given a receizt for the money at the time she turned it over to Attorney
BULGER, but th:t she returned this receipt when Attorney BULGER renaid her
the money she had put up to be used as part of the bond. She advised that
she thinks she put up this money in the form of a certified check dravm on

DEALILA CARUSO stated that she received no profit from tnis transaction
whatsoever, and that she merely did it as a favor for a friend, and e:mected
no profit from it. She has to this time refused to divulge the identity of
the person who requested that this money be put up as a bond for subject
parolees, but did advise that the request came to her through her brother,
DOSONICK, who resides with her. She steted that this friend who made the
"request through her brother had at one time’ loaned a larger amount of money
then thea sum af £10 000.00 ta herself whan she needed it in esonnection with

' ADM Sales Company affairs, and, for that reason, she had willingly put up
the $10,000.00 for bond when requested to do so by the as yet un-named
individual.
