TURNER, 1300 BE. 48th Street, Chicago, Illinois, twas interviewed on September 25, 1947 by Special Agents b> a. which time he stated that he had written a letter to the Parole a Board recommending that CHARLES GICE be paroled. He stated that he had . written this letter after being requested to do so by the wife of mbject GICE, which reqest had been made to him in the early part of May, Bate 3 TURNER stated that he knows both subject CHARLES GICE and his brother, ares Cake . T(NY GICE, as customers of his clothing store, and that in all of his | dealings with them as customers they have been hcnest and fair. TURNER stated that he would write the same letter today to the Parole Board ever knowing that an investigation was imminent.
