A letter from Viarden Sanford at Atlanta to ir. Loveland dated July 21,
1945 concerning a transfer cf Carpazna and others to Leavenwerth ccntains the.
following: "From information received, it is quite evident that money is being
paid to obtain the transfer of these men to Leaverworth, cnd I do not believe.
they should be transferred at this time for this reason. TI, of course, trould
have ne objections but there will be problems at Leavenworth in respect’ to the
