This letter is to confirm a conversation on March 22,
1990, between Assistant United States Attorne AUSA

he Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Johnstown Resident
Agency.
As you will recall, captioned matter involves a
threatening letter sent to United States Congressman John P.
Murtha, Twelfth District, Pennsylvania, and received at the
Congressman's office in Somerset, Pennsylvania (PA). This letter
was sent by captioned individual, who is
a patient at the Somerset State Hospital, Somerset, PA.
On March 22, 1990, AUSA declined prosecution in
this matter since it has no prosecutive merit due to the obvious
mental problems el
