Dear Sir;
Reference is made to memorandum for the Director No. 3 dated Au-
gust 3U, 1943, in the above captioned matter submitted by Tom C. Clark, As-
sistant Attorney Gensral, and particularly to the firet peragraph on Page
No. 3 of that memorandum.
The Bureau has been previously advised that no action would be
taken in connection with G. Lovew#@rant. However, Assistant Attorney General
Frank Colemen has crally requested this office to conduct investigation to
ascertain the present whersabouts of G. Love Grant. This request is made
in order that Grant mav, if later deemed advisable, be readily located and
served with a Grand Jury Subpoena. However, Mr. Coleman stated that he did 7
not desire Grant interviewed at this time or apprised of the “act that he 4
may at some later date be served with @ Grand Jury Subpoena.
