"I have been working at Mine A for rout years. Before Ryan sold

it. I did not care which union I belonged to, just so 1 could work. It did
not make much difference ta me. I attended one meeting where the matter of
changing unicns wos discussed. I do not remember what was seid thet night.
I did not attend the meeting when the men voted to go into the United Mine
Sorkers. 1 decided thet I would weit and see what they would do, and that I
would do the snne thing. I heard that there was talk about closing mine 4
and taking the coe] out through Mine B, 1 wanted to work, and I think that is
the recson the men joined, so they coud work. It did not meke much difference
to me Which union I belonged to.
