got along fino with Mino B officials beforo 1932. I don't know the reo-
son for the beginning of PMA and didn't take any part in its permotion.
I never even attended any union meotings under PMA. Whon Mine B changed
its union affiliations I joined PMA with the other engineers.
"T knew Pete Carter, Frank Austin, Tony Plotch, and Charles Bo-
honnon out at Mine 3 at the time of the strike in 1937, but I nover heard
about any of them favoring UMiA or stirring up trouble, md I never heard
about them or any others boing expolled from PMA. mn my job I didn't have
much contact with the miners and I have no knowledge of any contract or
wore difficulties at tho time of the strike in 1937.
