line B. I never was an officer in any wnion.
"In 1934 when I started at inc B, there was no trouble at
Minc B, the trouble started in line B in 1937, =t that time some
men were trying to pull some of the mincrs away from P.M.a. Some
of thesc men were: Bowling Green (Charlie Bohannon), Dominic
Pasquale, andy (Skrelevicus), Tony Plotch, Pete Carter, Frank
Austin, and Bmory Jacaway, fhesc men were talking to some of the
mincrs, but they never talked to mc at any time.
"I don't know why the strike started, but I think that
the activities of the men named above had something to do with it.
I don't remember if I signed a petition for P.M. 4. in 1937. No
‘ onc asked me to join the U.M.7i, in the sumer of 1937.

AJ went on the picket linc in 1937 of my own accord because
the whole local of the P.M... went to the picket line. JI think that
the mon were picketing to keep the U.M.W. men out of Mine B. I don't
kmow anything about the injumction that stopped the strike picket.
