Appointments were arranged with the following individuals for

ANTHONY J. PLOTCH, DOMENIC PASQUALE, JOSEPH ALBANESE,
and EMERY JaCwiaY. ;
Mr. HALE, Mr. AUSTIN, and Mrs JaCalaY were the only ones keeping fj
their A&ppointments, although at the time that each appointnent was //
made each individual seemed cooverntive and willing to come to the
Springfield Field Office. ite HaLE, Jdre AUSTIN, and Mr. JCA AY
were all cooperative and executed signed statenents &s set forth

Teen 7 of the interview, but was advised that this could not be furnished
to him by the Springfield Field offices
Mr. PASQUALE, who resides. JM Springfield,
Illinois, was contacted by telephone on September 5, 1943, and pro-=
fessed to have forgotten the appointment, but expressed willingness
to come to the office at some other time. JUSEPH ALBAIMSE, who re=
was @lso contacted on September 5 by
telephone and advis at he was a poor working man and did not want
to get into trouble, and would not come to the office until he had
seen his attorneys
