used to attend the meetings of the union quite regularly. In those days
there was not a very large attendance at the Union meetings. In 1932 the
Progressive Mine Torkers of Anerica was organized. I think that it was
organized because some of the men could not get offices in the UM. That
is the only reason that I can think of for organizing that union. “hra
