I was never an officer in any labor union. I was not particularly disatisfied with the operation of the PMY while I was a member. I had no objections to it except that they took a lot of my pay for dues. Other than that I think the PMW wis elright. I belonged te the UMW and thnt was my union. I never talked about the unions, and did not esre much which union was at the mine as long as they would leave me alone and let me work.
