I dont know the reuson this strike wos called. "Tl heard that sone of the curs were louded short on the day of the strike I didn't see any of this however end did not do it myself. I think it wos JOHN SCHNIEDER who told the nen to load the cars shorte T heard no tulk in the territory where I was cbout going on strikes Yihen we coame up on top I think oldcus we wore not going baok into the mine any more, I dont remember the reason for thie or whether hea gave us any reason or note “t dont romember signing ony potitions after the strike stxrted for either the Progrossives or the United Hine Vorkorse I dont remember any body trying to get me to sign anything ufter the strike sterteds "I dont remember any thing ubout the UsMelle forming 6 local the sunner of 1937. I do remember the picketing there und I took pert in ites I was there most of the time except to come home und chtinge clothes ones in o while. The men who took part in the picketing were just the looud P.MeAe mane I dont recull any union meeting where the PeMere decide? whit to do when the mine tried to open under U-U.W.
