of my informetion came fram the newspapers.

the THA meetings,
“In the spring of 1937, I knew about five PMA fellows were

whet they were doing. , They were Andy Schrelevius, Dominic Pasquale,
Fete Carter and Frank Austin. There may have been more but I don't
remember vhoe I do not remember enything about these men or any
other men being expelled from the PLA. The reason we went out on
strike in ilay 1937 ras bocause of contract trouble and some wage
trouble. I do not know anything about the company refusing to fire

“I do not remember attending a FilA meeting on Mey 11, 1937,
the night before the etrike. On iy 12, 1937, I went to work fe usual.

I didn't hear anything about a strike until sometine during the day
vie were pulled out. I did not knov why we went out, but I cam up
to tha top end went home. A couple of days later I heard the reason
we were out was because of the contract or pay. I don't remeber
receiving any notice of any kind to come back to work until Nov. of
1939, In the summer of 1937 I got a job Te)
I didn't go back to itine “B" except a couple of times with
the FlA men rho were out thore protecting their jobs. During the
summer of 1937 I oannot remomber if I signed any PLA petitions. I
mey heve. But I am certain I did not sign any Uti petitions.
