I really don't know the reason for the organization of P.M.4., and I took no part in the organizing of the P.M.s. From 1932 to 1937, conditions at the mine were satisfactory. I heard or saw nothing which might have shown that the management of line B was in favor of the U.N.w., rather than P.1.A. As far as + know, the men were entirely satisfied with the P.MAey for I hea rd no complaints "I don't remember any P.M.4a. meeting the night before the strike, and I don't remember hearing anything about the meeting the next day. <n the day of the strike, I went to work, and didn't know anything about the strike until I had finished work for the day. IJ heard that men had been loading their cars short, but don't knuw the reason for it.
