KSULTS OF E TIDB: The signatures for the year 1937 eppearing on the photograpkes printed from the file pack subsltted have been compared with the known writing specimene of ALGER HISS, PRISCILLA HISS and WAITYARER CHAMRERS. The questioned elgnatures are net sufficiently comparable with the known hendwriting of the above-mentioned three individuale for any definite conclusion te be reached. ‘The entry “Capt. and Mrs. H. T. Smith Waahington, B. 6." dated "7-16-37" is in the same geneva) style of writing &o that used by PRISCILLA Hiss. The entry after the date "Sept. 15° which ie practically illegible but poaslbly in the signatures "Mr. and Myre. GRAHAM WYC" and "De. tm, BOONE HYC* is im the same general style of writing ae that esployed by WHITTAKER CHAMBERS. Other than general styles of writing nothing of particular signifleance was found.
