MUSRER was appointed in classification CAF=4 arch 28, 1936 and pran gently 1s employed by the RRB with a rating of PeT, MARGARET GREEWFIBLD, Chief of Reports and Inforaation Service, 110 25th Street, NoW., Washington, De Ce, appointed April 11, 1936, transferred to OPA May 24, 1942, , It should be noted that information concerning JOSEPH M. GILLMAN and MARGARET GREENFIELD was previously reported in this ease in cermestion with the employment of CHAMBERS wy the WPA at whieh time he was assigned to the RB@: CILLBAW ond GREYEPIELD functioned in supervisory capacities as RRR employees assigned to the wr, project. With respest to other persons listed above, who have left the RRB, it is believed that wost of them transferred to other departments.at the tine the RRB moved ite headquarters to Chicaga. Vo PAUL GARNEY, Chief Parsennel Officer, RRB, from 1937 untd2 1948, and an eaployee in tha Legal Department of the RRB eines the latter year, ade vized that although SILVERMAN beeaws an employee of the Board in 1986 he believed that SILVERVAN wag hired at tha instigation of “URRAY Ky, LATINER, (Chairman, Mr. CARNEY stated this was an opinion and not based on any facts. CARREY also mtated thet he believed SILVERWAN, to ths best of his recollection, ma particularly anxious te ebtein the services of CLEMENT "IRSTOW aa an exipleyes of the Beard at the time the letter wag hired but CAREBY could not reqall the exact slreumstances, He ould not recall which other porsons were brought inte the RRB at the instigation * SILVERMAN.
