that the CP should redouble its efforts in behalf of Negroes, particularl:
toward getting them jobs in the Major Leagues. He mentioned that Satchel
Paige and Jackie Robinson were to appear in Boston and that these two
Negroes would be of great help to either the Boston Red Sox or the
Boston Braves, He suggested taking petitions against barring Negroes
from the Major Leagues to the game so that spectators could sign them.
