Boswell, Director, Offi State Department. } [ . —— ’ 7 yee In placing this call from Miami, Kramer stated, “I am furnishing this information because J think it's a hell of a thing."' He advised that while having breakfast this morning with a friend in Miami, the friend told him that, "a discussion has been taking place within the Administration as to replacing Mr. Hoover with William O. Boswell."" Kramer was tactfully pressed as to the identity of the person furnishing this information. He replied, "Iam sorry, I can't reveal that, but Ican say it came to my friend from a source in the Wnite House.""
