A letter was sent on May 28, 1945, to Robert H. Shtelds, nattonal president of the Federal Bar Assoctation, tn response to Shtelds' letter inviting the Director to continue for another year. The Director adutsed Shields that tt would not be posatble to accept since he was not able to attend meetings regularly because of the pressure of hia offictal schedule.
