The Lirector parsonally hea organised the FBI's Seat of Odoverncent
offices into seven Livisions with a chief of each Li-ideion, Each lavision
in turn is organized into Sections andi wubordinate Units when necessarye
idrectar ia in personal contact with the ohiefs of these Divigions Trepently
and regularlys vos close personal attention to the performances of each
of these Divisions and passes on ell matters of policy, all sugzestions, ali
yeneral procedural requirements uni all progress of planning. Through
resular and frequent consultation with the Liviaion Chiefs end at times their
subordinates, throu h the personal oxmaination of the major itene of
production of each Division, he is able to keep in touch with the efficiency
