He was educated in the public schools of the District of Columbia, . ; He holds the Degrees of LL.B., and LL.k., from George Washington University and also the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws from George Washington University, Pennsylvania Military Col- lege, New York University, Drake University, Westminister College, Oklahoma Kaptist University, Georgetown University, Notre Dame University, St. John's University Law School, Rutgers University, the University of Arkansas, Sea- ton Hall College and Holy Cross College. He holds an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science from Kalamazoo College and the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Civil Laws from the University of the South.
