When he received it, the editor wrote back and asked me where out good friend, John Edger Hoover, wes and why he wes not in the picture. He thought that we had slighted you and failed to extend to you en invitetion to be photographed in front of the Department of Justice Building. I explained to him that you had beer very busy that morning and more urgent business had recuired your . immediate attention, but we hoped thet we would secure me e picture of you with the Flizabeth Police Laboratory in _ the not fer distant future. This explanation setisfied the editor, end in his reply he stated that as lone as we did not slight you or feil to invite you to have vour picture teken, he felt thet we beé done our duty. J would appreciate receiving all your circulers and bulletins which you mil out frecuertly, elorg with the fingerprint copies or picture of our undesirables.
