Mr. Tamm advised that the memoranda to the Attorney General
on the post office matter, are ready; also the memorandum for the Direc-
tor on the Toledo Police Department. Mr. Tamm informed the Director
briefly of these memoranda.

_The Director stated that a letter had been received froi Reyer
~ concerning a’ complaint tnat one of the Burean men had used profane epi-
~* thets against one of his men subsequent to the arrest of Karzis.in New
‘S _ Orleans. The Director stated that Mr. Connelley believed the incident
an ~ had occurred at Karpis' apartment after the:arrest when an officer tried
“< ~ to enter the apartment and was refused admitiance by the Bureay men. The
~ Director instructed Mr. Tamm to get this letter and then commmicate with

Mr. Tamm advised that Congressman Duff; had called yesterday
ce about a Mr. Miller at Rochester, New York who is supposed to be investi-

an Agent named Miller and are not investigating chet.
