Mooney's attorney had met him at Harmon, Indiana, however, and
told him that the Govenor had no right to grant a parole. unless
the sentence were for six months or more. Mr. Nooney stated that
. he intended to serve the sentence of 24 days and said he would
be the goat if it would help the cause.
I advised Mr. Tolson that the speeches are being sent
cut but that a few are being held up. Ir. Tolson agreed that
those speeches directed to Young of the Federal Laboratories,
Stanley Heed, and Govenor Hoffman should be held up for the
present.
