SYNOPSE; : |
ED stated he feared a beating by his
son-in-law, called to ask for "protection from the Metropolitan Police."
He was insistent on protection and stated it was an interstate matter because
his son-in-law was coming into the District of Columbia from Maryland for
the purpose of beating him up, and the Police Department had told him there
was nothing they could do beforehand. On his second call, he stated he did
not agree with me that the facts he gave did not constitute a case within the
Bureau*s jurisdiction, and stated he was going to write to his "Senator in
Virginia." At his request, I gave him my name, No action recommended.
