at 220 pete, 2-13-5h, the above-captioned individual
called from Burlington, Massachusetts. He spoke with a decided
accent and it was very difficult to determine the purpose of his
onll. He stated that he desired police protection from the FBI
and that he wanted to talk with the FBI. He refused to divulge
the information he desired to furnish the Bureau and also refused
to identify the nature of the information which he possessed. He
did state, however, that certain persons whom he refused to
identify were “putt poison in his coffee and gasoline on the
atreets,® tated that he is unemployed and resides
on Burlington. Massachusetta. He stated
his telephone number
It was explained to Mr. that the Bureau could not
afford him police protection an was suggested to him that
he contact the local authorities. He was also advised that
should he possess any information which he refused to discuss
on the phone which would indicate a violation over which the
Bureau has jurisdiction he should contact the nearest field
office of the FBI.
