COMMISSION OF CRIMINAL POLICE
Me ce > RUE Sererenaines -
In view of the fect that the Bureau has officially
taken steps to terminate ite membership in the sbove organi-
zation, 1t 16 suggested that perhaps arrangements should be
made to eliminate the provision for membership in the Inter-
national Couminssion of Criminal Police contained in Senate
Bill 2664 as amended by the House Judiciary Committee in
Tlouse Report No. 2399, dated June 22, 1950. ‘his is the bill
which would have civen the Bureau statutory authority to
belong to the Conmission so that the langunge in the appro-
priation bill would not be subject to a point of order.
