The Coumiassion recently requosted that it be represented at the meetings held at the United Nations on Jenuary 21 and January 22, 1950, relative to "hon-Governzental Organizations" and Mr. Willian M. Woelan acted on my behalf to reprosent the Cornission. The meetings on “Kon-Governmental Organizations" were called to give consideration to the concitiona under which consultative status is granted to ? non-governzental organizations, The non-governmental organizations held a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, in June 1949, to discuse their relations with the United Nations, end at that tine it was detormined that a report should be made by a "Study Comittee! and an Interim Coxrmittee was aleo set un under wr. Howard E. Wilson of 45 West 117 Strest, New York City.
