Burnett was destrous of being advised as to re 6 at the Bureau for its membership tn. the International Comntssiton of Criminal Police. JI informed ifr. Burnett achat we had authorigation in our appropriation for the payment of $3,000 for membership [ee dues in this organization. I further pointed out to him that "yi AVEC for a number of yerrs we had only £1,500 authorized for this ON activity. I pointed out that this was approximately half of what our dues should have been on the basts on which various countries ore (eS by this organtzatton. wer def (pM Ir, Burnett further inquired as to whether or not any other expenses were incurred through our participation in thts comnisston such as the attendance of meetings, etc., and I informed him that no such expenses were incurred that our contact with the comnission was handled through our Liaison representative tn Parts, France, and the above information appeared to satisfy ifr.
