The search by law enforcement to bring the evildoer to the bar of justice is unrelenting and unceasing. Day after day, tn every section of the country, the peace officer ts running down cll avatlable clues. No criminal can hope to evade arrest. Shortly before Christmas, 1935, three men armed with state. Ina gun battle whtoh followed, local authorities shot and killed one of the trio. Witnesses identified the other two men who successfully made thetr getaway. In the autumn of 1947, almost twelve years after the robbery, FBI Agents apprehended one of the robbers on the West Coast. The fugitive admitted his tdentity and his partictpattion tn the bank robbery. He needed the money, he satd, to cover - speculattons itn the stock market.
