\ Under date of Janusry 13, 1948, all preliminary matters naving been
taken care of, Bureau letter to Telford, our Paris agent, furnisned
detailed information concerning schedules and procedures to be followed, .
the first schedule to begin on January 23. Since that time tnere have been four
uses or atteapted uses of tne radio iink. The first was a message originating: lie
~ in Copenhagen, relayed to us by Peris, requesting information from a New York ieee
bank for use in connection with an alleged violation of the Danish Exchange :
Control Act. The second was a request for us to relay a message to Santiago.
